Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. (together with its affiliates, "KKR")
today announced the appointment of real estate veteran Ralph Rosenberg
as Managing Director to lead its global real estate investing efforts.
"Ralph brings with him 25 years of experience investing in the real
estate industry. He has demonstrated not only the investment skills but
also the entrepreneurial vision to build new businesses and manage

Mr. Rosenberg's principal responsibility will be working across KKR's
global business to find attractive real estate opportunities for the
firm's diverse pools of capital, including equity, debt and special
situations investments. His experience will augment KKR's ability to
analyze and add operational value to businesses with significant real

Mr. Rosenberg spent seventeen years at Goldman Sachs, a partner from
1998 until he left in 2006, where he was involved in the investment and
management of over $50 billion of real estate transactions worldwide,
serving as Co-Chief Operating Officer of Goldman's Whitehall Funds and
the Archon Capital Commercial Real Estate Lending Platform until 2004.
From 2004 to 2006, he co-headed Goldman's Special Situations Group
before founding his own investment firm, R6 Capital Management, which
focused on commercial real estate, asset-based and corporate credit
opportunities. Most recently, Mr. Rosenberg was a Partner of Eton Park
Capital Management, where he was a member of the firm's operating and
commitment committees and was responsible for the firm's strategies in
the commercial real estate debt and equity markets.

University's Investment and Advancement Committees. He is also a Trustee
of The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, New York, an Honorary Trustee of
the Francis W. Parker School in Chicago and a former member of the
Stanford Graduate School of Business Trust. He graduated from Brown
University in 1986, magna cum laude, with a BA in American History. He
received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1990.
