Martin Moore retired as Chairman of M&G Real Estate (previously Prudential Property Investment Managers Ltd - PRUPIM) at the end of June.  He had been Chairman since July 2012, having previously been Managing Director since 1996.  As Managing Director, Martin was responsible for shaping the strategy and leadership of this successful global real estate business.  He also served as a director of M&G Ltd and continues as an Independent Non-Executive Director of F&C Commercial Property Trust Ltd and as a Commissioner of English Heritage.

Martin commented on his appointment: "I am excited to be joining KKR as a Senior Advisor. They have an outstanding reputation, huge ambition and a flexible and entrepreneurial approach to real estate investing.  I am very much looking forward to contributing to the further expansion of KKR's real estate activities."

Ralph Rosenberg, Global Head of KKR's Real Estate, stated: “Martin is a great addition to our global real estate team. His wide and deep experience in the sector will be of great value as we seek to deploy more capital across Western Europe in partnership with real estate owners, lenders, operators and developers.”

Guillaume Cassou, Director of Real Estate at KKR Europe, said: “Martin has built, over many investment cycles, a great knowledge and understanding of the real estate business, especially in the UK. His appointment highlights KKR’s commitment to the sector following our recent first European property investment, acquiring a multi-let retail park portfolio UK. We are currently assessing a number of other opportunities to expand our portfolio and I look forward to working with Martin on these transactions.”

KKR's Senior Advisors are part of KKR’s integrated model of value creation. These individuals include current and former senior executives who have unique leadership skills that complement the work of the firm's investment professionals, including supporting new investing activities and providing counsel to KKR portfolio companies.
